Global Chinese Conference on Computers in Education(GCCCE)

The Global Chinese Conference on Computers in Education (GCCCE) is a premier annual international bilingual (Chinese and English) forum for researchers, practitioners and policy makers within and beyond the ethnic Chinese communities around the world to disseminate and exchange of ideas and advancements for research in and practice of technology-enhanced learning. The conference program will comprise keynote speeches, paper presentations, panels, workshops, tutorials, K-12 Teachers' Forum and Doctoral Student Consortium. The accepted papers of all the program categories will be published in proceedings with ISBN numbers.

The main conference will comprise nine theme-based sub-conferences, which will only admit academic papers written in Chinese(please refer to our Chinese websites), and the inaugural English Paper Track (EPT). All the manuscripts written in English, regardless of their themes (albeit must be related to the broad topic of technology-enhanced learning), shall be submitted to the EPT instead of the extant sub-conferences. The authors of all the accepted full English papers will be invited to submit extended versions of their manuscripts to Journal of Computers in Education (JLCE) (https://www.springer.com/journal/40692), the flagship English journal of the GCSCE. The JLCE has been indexed in Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI) by Web of Science and is now applying for indexing in Social Science Citation Index (SSCI).

Theme of GCCCE 2020: Innovation and Reform on Technology Empowering Education

As a kind of method, way of thinking, and behavioral pattern into the field of education, technology is stepping from external auxiliary to endogenous penetration, thus, in the future, education can have large structural reform, which can also promote the intelligent transformation for the studying environment, teaching way, and education management, provide suitable opportunity for study, form into precise, individual, flexible, and lifelong educational service system, satisfy the demands of students in maximum, develop more fair and more qualified education, and promote the development and innovation in education and also the construction of community with shared future for mankind.

As to the problems of how to create new diagram, new process, new structure, and new business form by technology, promote the series reforms and innovations, including education demands, forms, contents, comments, education governance, and teaching bodies, and construct new education system, these are the focused problems by Chinese scholars. For this conference, with the theme of "Innovation and Reform on Technology Empowering Education", it is expected to cooperate with the Chinese all over the world to develop research together, empower education by technology faster and better, and realize the new pattern in equal, individual, and lifelong education.

Important Dates

Paper submission: August 10, 2019 to November 24, 2019 December 14, 2019.
(Full paper, 8 pages; short paper, 4 pages; poster, 2 pages)
Notification of paper acceptance: February 22, 2020
Final paper deadline: March 9, 2020. The paper shall be modified according to review comments.
Paper registration deadline: April 20, 2020 (Early Bird Registration April 12, 2019)

News

November 24, 2019: The submission deadline for the main conference of GCCCE2020 (including the nine sub-conferences and the English Paper Track) is extended to December 14 2019 (Saturday). This is the final extension.

November 24, 2019: Each author can only sign two papers at most (no matter in the main meeting or pre meeting), and each paper must have one of the authors registered and put this paper under his name.

August 25, 2019: The GCCCE 2020 Workshop Proposal Call for Proposal, please refer to the "CALL FOR PAPERS" - "Workshop Proposal" and actively submit the proposal.

August 15, 2019: The GCCCE 2020 Teacher Forum issuance and announcement. Teachers are welcome to refer to the "CALL FOR PAPERS" – "Teacher Forum" and contribute to the submission.

August 13, 2019: The GCCCE 2020 Doctoral Student Forum issuance notice, please refer to the "CALL FOR PAPERS" - "Doctoral Student Forum" and actively contribute.
